My professor mentions repeatedly about zero point energy and its soon coming applications. I know that partical-antiparticle creation and anihilation on the subatomic scale happens with some frequency in a vacuum. Is this the energy they are talking about? Any information I have gleaned offline through searches shows that we pretty much have little or no idea as how to obtain this energy anywhere in the near future. And aside from any sci-fi fanatics, not many people know anything at all about it, (even they dont have much of a clue) Is this correct? Where are we with this technology?
If Electromagnetic Radiation can travel through the vacuum of space then it can travel without a medium, but shouldn’t this be imposable? Or is it true that Electromagnetic Radiation uses the medium of existing magnetic fields, such as earths, distorting these fields much like sound waves do to air? And if so how can this have a direction of travel?

At the subatomic(quantum) level, an infinite maelstrom of energy is available, in the form of a charge potential between electrons and the opposite charge which is attracted to the electrons. This energy source was discovered by Nicola Tesla, which he called radiant energy, and observed that this energy behaved much like a gas. Although Teslas invention of the alternator gave the world the energy source it now uses (alternating current, or AC), Teslas later experiments focused primarily on mechanically pulsed DC current, which is the key to entrapping the radiant energy which exists at the quantum level. The DC pulse can be modulated mechanically using a commutator (as Tesla did), or by using semiconductors. Many inventions over the past 100 years have demonstrated the ability to produce more energy than what was initially put into these devices electrically. Before you comment that ZPE is fiction, I suggest you check your source. Not only is it feasible, it is in use today. I have witnessed it with my own senses.

Since making this video I have come to learn a great deal more about the subject of “free” or ambient energy devices. There is really no such thing as “free” energy, it’s a misnomer.
