My sister’s 3 year old 40 inch LCD had the classic blinking red led non start/turn on problem. The blinking sequence is a diagnostic tool if you know how to interpret it. We called the manufacturer and they covered the repair on this particular model even though it is three years old. Copy down the full model number(including suffixes), version number if any, and the serial number and see what the manufacturer says about the coverage. In our case, they offered a one time capacitor replacement for no charge. If your tv manufacturer does not cover the repair, it is not completely hopeless. The capacitor repair should not be too expensive or difficult. If you are QUALIFIED, you can replace the caps yourself for a few dollars. Make sure you disconnect the tv, discharge the capacitors or wait a few hours for the caps to discharge before making the repair. Basically, you just unsolder the bad capacitors and solder the good ones back in. There are many videos on soldering on youtube. I guess the point of my video is, why fix it yourself when you don’t have to. This is a known issue and the manufacturer will most likely cover it. Just google bad capacitors and LCD tv and you’ll find tons of info. All televisions have high voltages and can kill you. The bad capacitors in question are on the power supply board so be extra careful TV repair is not child’s play. Treat it with respect and be cautious. For plasma TV Y board repair check out my other video on this channel. Good luck.

Coda Automotive opened their first mall store. The Coda Electric Vehicle (EV) is actually a pretty good alternative to the Nissan Leaf. While a bit pricier, the 110 mile range on the car makes it a viable commuter car and fleet vehicle. Just like the Ford Taurus used to be, and the Ford Focus is becoming, Coda is likely to be the defacto standard for Electric Fleets, with its 4 hour charge time, and great range, you could conceivably commute 70 miles to work and still have charge left over to run errands after work. Coda is an All-electric, not a Hybrid. It uses lithium iron phosphate batteries and has a 134 HP motor that generates just over 200 Foot Pounds of Torque. Samsung LCD TV’s have problems turning on. Well known problem due to bad capacitors on the power supply. Class Action Lawsuit should be filed. I am in Canada and looking for people to join me. Samsung is not accepting responsibility and my 00 TV is just older than the warranty period. I had to fix it myself but I bought 2 other Samsung TV’s and Blu-Rays at the same time and now I’m praying they aren’t affected. I will never buy Samsung again.

“RIVETING… HIGHLY ENTERTAINING” – John Lopez, Vanity Fair In 2006, as many as 5000 modern electric cars were destroyed by the major car companies that built them.Today, less than 5 years later, the electric car is back… with a vengeance. “Revenge Of The Electric Car” follows 4 larger-than-life entrepreneurs at the forefront of the electric car race. First, there’s Bob Lutz — Mr Detroit himself, the cigar-smoking vice-chairman of GM, who has been making gas-guzzling cars his entire career. He is challenged by Elon Musk, the young dot-com maverick billionaire who thinks that he can show Detroit how to build cars with his Silicon Valley-based Tesla Motors. Carlos Ghosn of Nissan-Renault, the desperately smart and ruthless businessman who singlehandedly rescued Nissan from ruin, wants to flood the market with affordable mainstream electric vehicles. And lastly, “Gadget” Abbott, a reverend/designer/engineer is one of thousands of electric car DIY-ers who together may be a force big enough to change the auto industry forever. “Revenge Of The Electric Car” opens in the US beginning Oct. 21. Binaural beats, Monaural beats and Isochronic tones use particular sound waves in patterns, giving the ability to change brain and even body function. Often used in meditation or relaxation, sound waves stimulate parts of the brain to react in a specific desire much like a tuning fork. These videos are a collection that I have spent a long time putting together, each having a different effect. A way to get the mind, body and spirit to cooperate together. I started with laying down twin tracks of isochronic tones to produce an altered state of mind in a shorter amount of time. Not to mention they are more powerful and still a fairly new technology. Secondly, I added, a more subtle and periodic, set of binaural beat tracks behind the isochronic tones, to still allow for both hemispheres of the brain to be stimulated without being overloaded. And thirdly, adding 3 more tracks of sound effects and background music, more to entertain the imagination and help with focus. Kind of like adding flavoring to medicine. Unlike with binaural beats, using 2 tones, Monaural beats work with only 1 tone, allowing your brain to adapt quicker and more comfortably. Yet with Isochronic tones being the more powerful of the three, by increasing and decreasing the tones and speed an altered state and tuning of the brain is accomplished more rapidly. So by combining the usefulness of all three, not to mention the “flavoring”, I have found that, as a whole, can be extremely powerful. So far they
