He prophesied that Israel would become a state fifteen years before the event, and foretold the Great Depression. Many of his visions that seemed to pass unfulfilled are now being proven accurate. His name is Edgar Cayce and to many, he is known as the other Nostradamus. Throughout the 1930s and 1940s, Cayce was a well-known figure in America, known for his “healing abilities” as well as his prophecies. www.youtube.com Author and filmmaker Sydney Kirkpatrick discussed his research into the American prophet Edgar Cayce. He had exclusive access to Cayce’s personal papers and trance readings, including the names of people who received readings, such as George Gershwin, Gloria Swanson, Tesla and Edison. Cayce provided thousands of readings in a trance state– his sources varied, but they included deceased spirits and angelic beings, Kirkpatrick detailed. Many of his medical readings turned out to have great accuracy– Kirkpatrick described the case of a boy whose life was saved at the last minute by following Cayce’s recommendation of taking belladonna. His health readings of individuals often contained additional information related to such topics as science, Atlantis, and earth changes. The Atlanteans suffered three cataclysms, brought about by their own technology, he noted. Cayce said life does exist on other planets, but we wouldn’t recognize it as life as we understand it. He spoke of an antigravity device that uses rotating magnetic discs, and described how to make a “Stansell” motor– a perpetual motion machine. During a 1934 reading, he predicted a time when the western portion of the United States would be broken off, and there’d be a pole shift. He cited the name of John Peniel (a reincarnation of John the Apostle), as being a person who’d be around at this time to usher in the changes. Some have claimed that the author Jon Peniel could be this person.

The Mayans were comparable to the Atlanteans in terms of their being attuned to “celestial consciousness,” but both groups eventually devolved into more war-like states, Cayce said. Interestingly, Cayce’s view of seven cycles or ages corresponds with the Mayans, Van Auken noted. Passageways in the Great Pyramid at Giza have prophecies carved in stone, which end in the year 2038, and Cayce concurred that these predictions were for the most part correct, said Van Auken. Cayce believed that souls similar to ours exist in different forms in other dimensions and planets, and that it’s possible to communicate with them. Further, he said that the human body was evolving into a new form, and that we would eventually have 12 chakras (energy centers) instead of seven. Regarding reincarnation, he suggested that our individual personalities are absorbed back into the soul upon death. As a scientist, he was initially skeptical about the Cayce material (which was delivered in a trance state), but upon study, he was won over by its accuracy and insights. Some highlights he presented from Cayce’s readings: # Someone in antiquity had a telescope, but it was found rather than built by that person’s civilization. # There is no life like ours in the solar system, but there are other beings/civilizations elsewhere in the universe. # The stars and planets do not govern our future. # In a sense, sunspots are caused by the turmoil of the human race. Who Was Edgar Cayce? Twentieth Century Psychic and Medical Clairvoyant Edgar Cayce (1877-1945) has been called the sleeping prophet, the “father of holistic medicine,” and the most documented psychic of the 20th century. For more than 40 years of his adult life, Cayce gave psychic “readings” to thousands of seekers while in an unconscious state, diagnosing illnesses and revealing lives lived in the past and prophecies yet to come. But who, exactly, was Edgar Cayce? Cayce was born on a farm in Hopkinsville, Kentucky, in 1877, and his psychic abilities began to appear as early as his childhood.
