Can I watch My Bloody Valentine in 3D on a DLP Rear Projection TV? Someone said 3-D won't show up on these TVs?

Is it true that I won’t be able to watch anything, including My Bloody Valentine on Blu-Ray, in 3D because this TV won’t support it?

It’s just a basic 6 year old DLP rear projection TV. Nothing too fancy.
