What's the deal with the 3d setting on Mitsubishi tv dlp?

I hears that some stations might broadcast football in 3D. My DLP tv says it’s 3D ready. Plz explain. Can’t u use any color tv to view 3D shows?

Where can I put my receiver,xbox360, and my dvr once i get rid of my dlp and put a lcd tv up on the wall?
Posted by sandman49I currently have a dlp tv that sits on a stand, which has my dvr,receiver,ps3, and my xbox360 in the stand. However, I am purchasing a lcd tv to mount on the wall and i want to get rid of the bulky tv and the stand that the current tv is on. I want it to look good and still be able to reach all equipment with my remote. Any Ideas?

Is it worth going for a dlp tv for the size or is it better to stick with a flat panel lcd?
Posted by sandman49Whats the disadvantages for buying a DLP tv Mitsubishi besides the depth of it rather than a LCD flat panel? Would it be good to play ps3 and xbox on it?

Do I need to worry about a risk of electric shock if I replace the color wheel in my Samsung DLP?
Posted by sandman49I know I need to replace the color wheel, however, I was wondering if I need to worry about any risks of shocking myself. I know that older TVs years ago could still hold electricity after being unplugged. Is this is still an issue with the DLP TV?

How do you make the yellow strain go away on a Sony DLP HD TV?
Posted by sandman49I recently purchased a Sony DLP TV which works great for the most part. However I have my computer hooked up to the TV and when I use it, I get a yellow discoloration in the bottom right-hand corner. I dont know why this is but when I switch to watch normal TV it’s still there and its aggrivating me big time. Anyone have this problem? Know how to fix it?

Will putting speakers close to my new DLP tv mess the picture up?
Posted by sandman49Will putting speakers close to my new DLP tv mess the picture up? Ive heard it can affect projection tvs. The speakers are Infinity from like ’98 but very good not sure it they are magnetic insulated or not but yea. Thanks for any help.

Are DLP TVs subjected to screen burn ins?
Posted by sandman49I wanted to buy a new LCD TV, and I play a few video games, but I found a nice DLP TV i like but it being projection based just makes it sound scary that a still image can burn into the screen.
Am I wrong on this?
