Algonquin College. Exam week can be stressful on students. Inspired by the Christmas Food Court Flash Mob, Hallelujah Chorus, the Television Broadcasting students at Algonquin College wanted to showcase the new Algonquin Centre for Construction Excellence by lightening the mood with the help of the Ottawa Regional Youth Choir and Darth Vader. Thank you to ORYC Manager, Valerie Jerabek and Director, Kevin Reeves for agreeing to participate in this crazy idea. Thank you to the choir itself, for sharing their beautiful voices and for not minding that we subbed in a Sith Lord as conductor 45 minutes before the performance. Thank you to all the students who helped out and in particular to Television student Shane Webster who ontop of helping organizing was running back and forth from the hospital expecting his first child. Congratulations Shane! Thank you to Chloe Atherton and Bridget Berry for sewing a 43 inch circumference Santa hat on a moments notice and thank you to Randy Dash, Alanna McDonell and Robyn Heaton from Algonquin.
